HALL OF FAME
The induction of Kelly Hand into the Hall of Fame will be moved to next year. Reason is that Kelly is expecting her second child and her due date falls on he same day as the Hall of Fame banquet date .
Award Nominations
Nominate Manitoba's outstanding volunteers and sailors for our annual Awards and Appreciation night!! The awards will take place on Friday, November 4th at Fort Whyte Alive. For more information about the awards, please visit www.sailmanitoba.com. The nomination deadline is October 7 th .
Porthole Advertising
The Porthole magazine is published twice yearly and is sent to over 1800 sailors and boaters across Canada . It provides great opportunity for businesses to advertise their products and services. Team Winter Training
The team trailer is leaving for Vancouver in November. Like last year the truck and trailer will be stored away at the Royal Victoria YC for the winter. Manitoba team members will be participating at different events throughout the fall, winter and spring, with the highlight being the Midwinter's in Alamitos Bay , CAL . If you are interested to load your boat on the trailer let me know by latest October 15 th .
Bingos
The only Bingo which isn't filled yet is our Boxing Day event on Monday, December 26 from 6:00pm – 9:45pm at Club Regent. Please consider working this bingo and booking your spot through the office at 925-5648 or send an email to sailing@sportmanitoba.ca.
