NEW EMAIL ADDRESS

Due to the move of the Manitoba Sport offices, our email address  for Sail Manitoba has changed from sailing@sportmanitoba.ca to sailing@sportmanitoba.ca. Visit the Boat Show at the Convention Centre

The Mid Canada Boat Show will be held March 4th - 7th at the Convention Centre in Winnipeg . Visit the Sail Manitoba booth on the main floor at the York Entrance. We will be displaying a Laser, a Hobie and a Windsurfer with one rig for adults and one for kids.

Porthole Submissions

The spring issue of the Porthole is in the works. Please don't forget to send in your articles, stories, pictures and of course lot's of ads. Submission deadline will be March 31, 2010.

LEARN TO CRUISE

Coastal Navigation Course

Just a reminder that we will hold a Coastal Navigation Course on every Wednesdays from March 10th until May 5th from 6:30pm - 9:30pm. Course Conductor will be George Bush. The price for this course is $250 plus tax .

Basic Cruising Weekend Course

A Basic Cruising Weekend Course will run April 3rd, 10th and 17th from 9:00am - 6:00pm. Course Conductor will be Garry Hebert. Course fee is $180 plus tax.

All courses will be held at the new Sport for Life Centre on 145 Pacific Ave. Parking is available beside the building on Martha Street or on Waterfront Drive. LEARN TO SAIL

Learn to Sail Program in the City

The schedule for our Learn to Sail program at the Winnipeg Sailing Centre at Fort Whyte Alive has been set. To view the schedule go to www.sailmanitoba.com.

 

INSTRUCTORS AND COACHES

Coaches and Instructor Clinic

We will run a Learn to Sail Coaching Clinic for White Sail Coach and Bronze Sail Coach certification clinic (former green + blue), a Learn to Race Coach clinic (new level between blue and orange) and a Program Manager module (former red). Annual Awards Ceremony

Mark your calendars for our annual Awards Ceremony which is scheduled for Friday November 5, 2010 at Fort Whyte Alive.

Next Board Meeting
