Located near the town of Kenora, Ontario, this yacht club has its own island which plays home to a huge network of docks, a large clubhouse and four tennis courts.

The yacht club offers sailing lessons for youth from White to Bronze Sail levels, plus Optimist classes for younger sailors. There are combination dinghy and windsurfing classes, tennis lessons plus a junior program of arts and crafts for youngsters. There is a club racing series held on Sunday afternoons in July and August, plus the Kenora and Gage cup regattas.

The clubhouse is host to the famous Royal Lake of the Woods dance on the August long-weekend, plus numerous other events, including a commodore's reception, a fish fry, pancake breakfast, men's and ladies luncheons, teen dancing and a Wednesday night movie and barbecue hosted by the sailing instructors.
