Falcon Yacht Club
is located at Faloma Beach on Falcon Lake, and offers
dinghy sailing, lessons and racing.
Both children and adults can learn to sail in the club's
fleet of Albacores, Optis, Laser and Enterprise. The
club also hosts the Manitoba Sailing Association's mobile
learn to sail classes in Optimist boats.
Join the dinghy racing on Saturdays and Sundays, starting
on the May long-weekend and running until late September.
The Falcon Open regatta in June and the One Design Regatta
in September attracts quite a number of Lightning racers,
along with the fleet of Lasers and Tasers around the
lake.
The clubhouse features Saturday barbecues, a grassy
area for dinghies to be pulled up on, and a good beach
for swimming. Join the festivities at the annual spring
clean-up in May and have fun introducing people to sailing
in July at the club's open house.
